Atlanta is a city rich in diverse culture. In 2022 APG will launch a series of micro-exhibitions focused on the lens-based artists within the varied communities that make up our member base at APG. The lens-based exhibitions will be curated and on view from 7-14 days in our gallery in between our flagship exhibitions.
Darnell Wilburn, APG’ s Director of Media and Cultural Outreach will spearhead this initiative called Eyes on Atlanta: Windows into our Community. This initiative will kick off with the first micro- exhibition curated by Wilburn, Eyes on Atlanta: Black Contemporary Photography, April 18th –April 30th. Opening Reception is April 21, 2022 from 6pm-8:30pm.
A while back I wrote a post about the 10 Multi-Passionate Creatives Showing Us How to Blend Our Creative Passions, well the more I study the concept of multi potentiality amount creatives and work with Creative Overlap; the more I am able to point out creative professionals who are able to blend their passionate into profitable creative businesses.
